Eli, I am so sorry that your gums are hurting you so much. Cutting your first teeth can be very painful and I wish I could make it go away. Ask mj to put some ice on your gums if ora-jel isn’t working so well.
    I love you,
    Mama Ray

Eli, I live in a little village of about 600 people, and half of them are Tlingit Indians (that’s roughly pronounced ‘Kling-gkit’ when you get old enough to where you’re sounding things out). Anyway, they have a word I just learned: eeshaan. It means ‘poor little thing.’

eeshaan is cool. now i want to change my name to eeshaan.

except then when i’m a 300-pound linebacker the name won’t be quite as good.

300 lbs? You have a lot of growing to do! Good luck!

A friend of mine was at a restaurant with his family, including a baby who was teething. They forgot the Orajel, so they dipped the baby’s pacifier in Scotch and handed it back. After sucking on it for a few minutes, the baby reached over and dipped the pacifier again. Maybe you should encourage mj and bg to drink Scotch. I won’t tell them this story if you don’t.
