sitting

i am still very tired and it is bedtime but i had to stop my rememberance of things past to tell you that i went from lying down to sitting up on my own today. i know this sounds totally lame but it is like way harder than it sounds.

okay i will go sleep now.

    And I’m still trying to figure out who you write to change the name of a state. Possibly the governor. Possibly the president. I’ll bet if Abe Lincoln were still alive he’d entertain the thought, Eli.

    Actually, I *think* he was born in Kentucky, but he was the governor of Cillincois for awhile and so I’ll bet you’re right, that he’d known how cold and full of corn it was.
