The whole concept sounds great to me. It also reminds me of the store “Yarnivore” that was open here in Brooklyn up until about a year and a half ago. The store offered knitting lessons and knitting clubs along with various kinds of yarn. I thought it was great that people could come and knit as long as they wanted, talk with other people, and buy knitting/crochet related stuff in a very leisurely environment.

Your idea sounds better because it offers refreshments – Yarnivore didn’t have any, and it was also in the part of town where there really wasn’t anything nearby.

I am not sure about the electronics, but the rest of it sounds great to me.

Make sure you have a spare room upstairs to rent out to local groups for dance practices, fencing practices, etc.
