Probably not. I only do these posts when I’m in the middle of a project, and I have no WP plugin projects planned.

Excellent, thanks, this was the article that finally got me unscrewed. This was the key:
add_filter(‘admin_footer’, ‘pluggy_quicktag_like_button’);
