I have one more shower to get through before I go buy any baby stuff. I'm quite proud of myself for not having bought much stuff so far. I wanted to wait and see what we got before I got too crazy with buying baby things. But I must say that I am looking forward to spending the gift cards and money that people have sent us. We have a whole closet devoted to bags - small bags, purses, big bags, duffel bags, name it. We were running out of space so when it came time for the diaper bag, I went looking through the closet. We are using a former laptop bag as our diaper bag and it's working out really well. All those compartments are perfectly sized for diapers and paraphenalia. And it's manly enough for the daddy. We got a sling similar to what Kat described - set it up once, and you just put it on over your hand and off. Worked out well for us, except for a bit of tightening we had to do since mom and dad have very different body shapes. The one you got looks really cool. The worst is walking in to REI and going up to the clearance section with all of the bags. Eep! The hotsling looks completely rockin'. I can't wait to see a picture of you and BabyTBA in it. If you like slings like that, my sister-in-law has one that it just has one loop that you're supposed to only have to setup once and then just keep it in place. Makes it universal for fit.
