No News is Annoying News

Well after all that lovely work I did yesterday and this morning, I’ve had maybe 3 contractions since noon. I’m very annoyed and am now going to go read Pretties since I finished Uglies at lunch time. I blame Stephen. He bought Uglies at Panoply for about $4 so after I finished it, I had to immediately zoom out to the bookstore to buy the next one. Maybe Liza is waiting until I’ve read all three before she decides to come. I guess that means I need to read faster.

If reading those books work, I’ll have to borrow them from you when the time comes ;)

Best wishes for an uneventful yet pleasant birth :)

The last book is “Specials” so be prepared to get all three cause you are going to be reading them for the brain candy they are.

I’ve not read that trilogy, but I quite liked Westerfield’s The Risen Empire. Nicely done science fiction.

I am not sure if this is even something that can be compared, but how different is this from the first time? This is totally sounding like how my time was - I would go to sleep totally convinced that I would be getting up in the middle of the night as the contractions get closer, but sleep soundly the entire night. Totally annoying.

It’s *nothing* like my labor with Eli. Once I started labor it progressed and I went to the hospital and then I was done. This starting and stopping thing is very not cool.
