It’s *nothing* like my labor with Eli. Once I started labor it progressed and I went to the hospital and then I was done. This starting and stopping thing is very not cool.

I am not sure if this is even something that can be compared, but how different is this from the first time? This is totally sounding like how my time was - I would go to sleep totally convinced that I would be getting up in the middle of the night as the contractions get closer, but sleep soundly the entire night. Totally annoying.

I’ve not read that trilogy, but I quite liked Westerfield’s The Risen Empire. Nicely done science fiction.
