I was trying to remember how I found the blogs I enjoy, and I belive it was the LOLtrek, now look at me. I am an avid rss feeder, started my own blog, and working on a podcast. What have you people done to me? Oh, I know, its like finding all of my oldschool RPG friends back in 8th grade.

Excellent! Welcome to the blog. I actually have never read Candle, since after Kaleidoscope Century I swore off reading Barnes for a while. I recently read The Sky So Big and Black, which is where I ran into One True and Resuna.

I subbed to your blog based on your lolcats @ the Whatever.

Then you post an entry with a title that I just had to click through to – becuase “Candle” (I think that’s the name) is one of the sci-fi books I keep going back to.

I didn’t realize John Barnes wrote any others….I must be a bad intertuber, cause I didn’t even think of wikipedia-ing him or anything.

Crazy.

I believe that after "I’m turning into that guy from the one XKCD comic.", you need to add the parenthetical "(No, not that one.)"
