Don’t you just love it when they like each other? My boys have got the Christmas Insufferables lately, and I feel like I’m in a constant state of ‘One More Word Out Of You And NO CHRISTMAS!’ -itis. But you’re right. Moments like those make it all worth it!

Yeah, I was all about taking away Christmas at about 5:30 this afternoon.

Such cute photographs. Hopefully in time they’ll serve as a lovely memory, obliterating the frustration!

regarding cancelling christmas.. we’re getting close to wanting that. But today we got the calender down from the wall, and told our son that for every 3 lines he got on one day (one line = one tantrum or talking back or the like) he would get a lump of coal instead of a present in his stocking. 3 tantrums were averted today! As soon as I mentioned he would get a line if he carried on acting up… instantly he’d be quite and sweet :)

We tried the lump of coal threat with our boys. Youngest Son looked solemn, but Middle Son thought that coal was a really cool gift idea, and Eldest Son asked if he could have his coal compressed into a diamond. We had to come up with something else.
