Having seen the movie this afternoon, I agree with Joyous. A lot of those questions work on a couple of different levels and were really quite perceptive (regardless of what level he meant them on *grin*).

Having just seen the film, I can honestly say those are all legitimate questions. In some ways, this was a pretty subtle movie.

Coen did pretty well/ about the same, though I found it a bit of a challenge to explain items like ‘FOREIGN CONTAMINANT’ before other action took over.

What I found strange is how short of a time the Wall-E role playing lasted before he went back to Superman, etc. (he’s set himself up a newspaperman Service Desk in his room so that Clark Kent has a place to file stories from). When he saw Peter Pan he was Peter Pan (or, ah, Tinkerbell) for weeks/months. While I was quite impressed, Wall-E seems to have faded fairly quickly for him.
