I’ve seen the horror of the Japanese soft drink industry, and Pocari Sweat is right there in the center of it all.

Aw man come on it’s not even that bad. I had it in Indonesia and liked it. It’s not chock full of sugar like gatorade, but is still sweet and has a hint of grapefruit-esque bitterness to it. I can’t believe that is your real reaction! The drink is mediocre at worst.
