Fine! I admit it! I’ve been spending all of my free time playing Jade Empire and kicking people in the face! But no worries. I can quit any time I want.
As soon as I finish that last fight in the Arena.

I really hated the fighting system in that game, but when I dialed down the difficulty, I had a lot of fun. Closed Fist FTW!
Awesome game. I totally understand. I’m currently addicted LEGOs Star Wars(tCS)/Batman.
Tablesaw: I’ve been surprised at how well I’ve been doing with the fighting system on medium difficulty. The only place I’m consistently tripped up is in switching styles on-the-fly via the D-pad. Also, I’m following Open Palm because, as in all CRPGs, I can’t stand it if the nice NPCs don’t like me.
Minitotoro: How’s Lego Batman? We’re finishing up Lego Indiana Jones with Eli and looking for the next Lego thing. For obvious reasons I haven’t been playing Jade Empire with Eli. I think the result of harmonic combos might be a little much for him.

Well, I played very soon after Knights of the Old Republic, so I was annoyed that I had to actually hit things instead of letting invisible d20s do all my work, and I really had no intention of learning how to do things better. Similarly, having just played a light-side game, I was ready to be evil, and I appreciated how the evil path was a bit more rational in Jade Empire compared to KOTOR.
I had considered picking this up as an X-Box Original on the 360 so it is good to see some positive reviews for it.
Me, my free time has been sucked into NHL 09 on my Xbox. :twitch:

Last weekend our free time was spent playing the Little Big Planet beta. Seriously addictive game. Holy cow. Another game I could get completely drawn into.
