Trademarks amaze me. How can one trademark "painter of light"? I also wonder about all the trademarks on the menu at Buffalo Wild Wings--I seem to recall they trademark Mild, Hot, or other similar common restaurant words.

Prophecy is not quite the right word since Kincade is obviously not fortelling the future...it was the best biblical cliche I could come up with in my tired little brain!

I have always felt that he cares more about the "Commercialization of Christianity" than Christianity itself. To me, it defines (albeit loosely) "false prophecy" in that anyone who waters down, or takes away, or moves focus from God and the Gospel is not doing the Lord's work. Oh, don't get me wrong, his art creates the warm and fuzzy and he does have a business to run. But where is the line? When does he realize that his pictures have taken on a more "green" hue?
