It was about 8 pm on a Wednesday night when I realized we had a house guest. I saw a praying mantis clinging to the ceiling in the kitchen when I looked up from making Thursday’s lunches.
I pointed out the praying mantis to Stephen and we decided to let him stay inside until the [...]

I finished my Dr Who doll in time to take it to Dragon*Con. Renee and I had a blast taking photos of him all over Con.
Since Con, I’ve also finished Rose (notice my Dr Who poster that I got at Con in the background):

Alana has been visiting us this weekend and we’ve had some big fun. Friday we went to Build-a-Bear to celebrate 50 years of Sanrio.
From left to right: Alana’s new Yorkie, Rooney, My Hello Kitty, Eli’s Keroppi, Liza’s Tropical Kitty, Liza and Eli. Notice Eli’s band-aid on his forehead, that’s where the stitches are.

Here’s Liza eating her birthday cake at the giant locals kid birthday party we had a few weekends ago.
Here’s Eli pretending to be a robot in the box of one of Liza’s birthday presents. A pirate, my little pony robot.
And lastly, here are the two monsters I finished last night. They are going to my [...]
I finally got my photos from our trip uploaded! If you want to see some of Kat and Sean’s photos click here.
This is without a doubt my favorite thing I’ve crocheted so far. I worked on him while in the UK, so I think he is sufficiently British. Blessed even.
The cuddly Doctor is going to Alana over the Fourth of July weekend and I will be so sad to see him go. I think I’ll [...]
