one step at a time and then one fall

this walking by yourself thing is hard. i can kinda take a couple of steps by myself but occasionally i trip over my socks or something and down i go. i don’t like that.

  1. Keep at it! You’ll get the hang of it. After a while you’ll be as good at walking as your parents and I bet they hardly ever fall down.

  2. there’s a phrase for accomplishing something in small increments. it’s called “baby steps.”

you may be frustrated by not reaching a goal right away (in this case, walking unaided) — but i am impressed with your progress. chin up!

  3. “Put one foot in front of the other,
And soon you’ll be walkin’ ‘cross the floor-or-or.
Put one foot in front of the other,
And soon you’ll be walkin’ out the door.”

    Walking is a difficult responsibility,
But oh what a good boy you’ll be,
When at last you’re on your own two feet
And smiling at every one you meet.

Break a legGood luck and keep practicing!

  4. thank you everyone for the kind words. i would have replied earlier but i was totally coming home from arkansas with mj and then it was new years and whee were there a lot of fans at the party./

  5. Sometimes bg does that on purpose. Get him to tell you about falling down in a big room with lots of people. Twice. On purpose.
