Rachel and I just finished watching Pride and Prejudice and I am happy to report to all that she is now just as in love with Colin Firth as the rest of us ladies.
She left here curtsying and declaring that she had a simply delightful time in our esteemed company.
Next up: Bridget Jones’s Diary. I may well never get her off my couch after that one!

I’m sure I’ll have my guy club membership card revoked for this one (as if I ever really had one), but it’s not just the ladies that like Pride and Prejudice (Mmm… Jennifer Ehle). Amy can confirm that any resolve I had about watching one episode a night disappeared about halfway through.
Aaron got sucked into it too…and of course, if I watch too much of it (and one episode soon turns into three, or maybe four, or…), I end up with an upper-class British accent that won’t go away for hours.

I quite fancied the entertainment of Mr. Darcy in your aquaintance Mrs. Granade. I daresay that upon retiring to my chambers I tossed and turned for sleep could not be found for my weary eyes.
I don’t revoke anyone’s card for anything. I learned my lesson after Stephen revoked my Gen X card.
I haven’t yet seen the new version of P&P but my friend Liza said it was good and all but gave it 0 stars for serious lack of Colin Firth.
Also, after this was posted last night I went and watched BJD. Anyone happen to have BJD2?
