yesterday i watched bg dig a bunch of holes in our yard to plant things. it turns out our yard is like 3/4 rocks and 1/4 big rocks. bg kept pulling all of these rocks out of the holes. he got very tired and sweaty.

the trees were a lot of fun. i got to pet one. here is a picture of me petting one.

the leaves felt funny.

why didn’t anyone tell me you can like stick your tongue out and make noises with it./ this is the greatest discovery.

so i am much better no thanks to all of you people who did not seem to care if i had a fever or not so bleah on you.

anyway on to happier news. mj and bg give me these little o’s that i get to eat and they are totally baby caltrops, at least for me. you know how caltrops slow down people running.7 these o’s stop me in my tracks. like i can’t help eating them all and not doing anything else until they’re all gone. i know this is silly but i honestly can’t help myself.

yesterday was not very good there at the end. for one thing bg has this jar of mixed vegetable stuff he keeps trying to feed me. he’s been feeding it to me for like three days. i make faces to let him know i don’t like it and eventually stop eating. but then next mealtime there it is again. tonight he was even doing this thing where he’d give me yummy bites of sweet potatoes and then sneak in a spoon full of mixed vegetables. so i blew some of them out at him.

mainly i was out of sorts because i was running a fever. i didn’t find this out until right after i went to bed. i woke up and was spitting up a bunch and then felt really bad so mj and bg took my temperature and it was a fever. but the fever is pretty much gone today and i feel a lot better thanks. the whole thing has left me pretty tired though.

the drive home after all of that excitement wasn’t very exciting. i watched the land be flat flat corn flat corn flat corn corn hills oh look now we are in tennessee where there are tiny mountains. and that is the story of my trip to cillinoics.

today that was last saturday was very busy. aj had had a quilt made from a nearby group of people called the amish. evidently they are different or something since mj and bg went and watched this film at a place called the illinois amish interpretive center. it makes it sound like the amish were going to speak a strange language and have to be interpreted but the ones we saw spoke english just fine.

they weren’t very exciting though. lunch at a restaurant kept me awake for a while as i got some of the food everyone was eating though not a lot of food. and there was this baby i wondered about eating but she was bigger than me. i would have had to do a stealth attack and cull her from the herd but that is hard to do when you are in a high chair and straps are holding you there.

so anyway the amish weren’t exciting and they made me fall asleep after lunch.

i just realized that that might be very mean especially if any amish read this. so amish i apoligize for you being not exciting.

that night was exciting though, because my fans came by. there was jamie and matt and andy and maria and they totally watched me stomp around and go ‘bbbbbbbbbbb’. they were easily entertained. then it got late and i went to bed. everyone must have left at that point because they didn’t have anything to do after they could not watch me any more.

i am still very tired and it is bedtime but i had to stop my rememberance of things past to tell you that i went from lying down to sitting up on my own today. i know this sounds totally lame but it is like way harder than it sounds.

anyway this morning which is really last friday morning but whatever we went to a kindermusik class not taught by aj. it was taught by this woman who was very cool. we were doing this zoom buggy thing which involved me being massaged and bounced and swung around in the air. i was really tired but it was still a lot of fun. and i had four people following me around, aj and ua and bg and mj and all the other kids only had one. so ha ha to them.

we also did some other stuff but that kindermusik class was totally the big event of the day and i am too tired to go into the other stuff but take my word for it being cool and fun.

today we went to an orchard. [i didn’t really do this today it was last thursday but we are pretending that today is last thursday.] they had apples that we got to pick, though i stayed all bundled up in my stroller because the wind was very cold. there was this other toddler there i tried to talk to but she was shy.

before that we ate at an indian restaurant. all of the waiters kept coming over to say hi. i think it is because my personality is magnetic. mj and bg and ua and aj were there. i sometmes call aj jukebox joy because she has a song for everything. there is a song for putting things away and a song for standing and a song for dancing. there is even a song for pooping but ua played that one on his computer for me. it is called the poopsmith song and i think it is available online but i do not know where from. but i think aj/jj knows all of these songs because she does this thing called kindermusik which is german for ‘drivers wanted’ or something.

we also went to a stamp store where they also has stuffed animals. there was this octopus puppet who was very cool but no one bought it for me. they did buy me this illinois shirt at another store but i don’t understand why the college would not pay you to wear it since it is advertising for the college. i do not even know if illinois is a good school or anything.

anyway that is mostly what we did today.
