When we all went to lunch today, Misty and Eli arrived first at the restaurant. I arrived at the same time as my parents. I walked up and held my arms out to Eli; he shoved me aside, leaned around my dad who was behind me, and excitedly ran to my mom, all the while shouting, “May! May! May!”
Consider it practice for when he’s 13 and would prefer to pretend you don’t exist.
