Yep, I have to see each miniscule sliver, ding, scratch, jump, song created, car jumped, block tower stacked, drawing drawn, toast sculpture bitten, hiding place hidden in, etc, or risk sending the boy into Broken Record Mode (BRM) until such action/item is adequately admired. If such attention is in any way lacking, usually we get the England/Japan routine: “I’m going to work in Japan (where he builds cars) and I’m not coming back for five years.”

That was pretty awesome. We’re at about exactly the same ages (Syvlie 1.17, Coen 4.42) and so it’s very fun to follow along here. Ditto the ‘difficult to breathe without someone watching’, phew!
