Guess I should suggest to my pastor we come up with a Mew Revised Standard Version for us LOLutherans. That, however, would require going back to the ancient texts for a translation (Lutherans are notoriously prejudiced against paraphrase)! ;-) PS- Geof, whilest not a snob, I like the ESV, too. The ELCA uses NRSV. LOL! Guess I should suggest to my pastor we come up with a Mew Revised Standard Version for us LOLutherans.
