Here is what I have been told…when they are young and still growing, their sleep habits change every 6 months or so. When they are infants it’s because they can move around a lot more, when they are toddlers, they have more on their minds! It WILL pass!

Jake’s personal mantra is, “Who needs sleep? You can sleep when you’re dead!” He and Liza would get along well together.

Oh, Misty, I’m so sorry! I can’t imagine what it’s like to go for weeks without enough zzzzs. Well, if prayers from the kidless count (as we will never know that particular trial), you got ‘em! My only thought is to flip to Liza’s cutest pictures and try to hold on to sanity!

Oh, and ditto on the new favorite phrase!

ack! When my mother-in-law was here recently, I was surprised to see her feeding the kids a big snack directly before bed — and then they both slept in an extra hour (!). I’m not sure it’s necessarily the best thing for them, but it’s worth a try among the arsenal of failed weapons.
