I loved puzzle games and escape-the-room games when I was growing up. Come to think of it, I still do, thus the reason I don’t play the same games as Sean. I was fascinated with the entire Myst series. I’m going to have to look up some of these sites that you mentioned now. I’m missing playing games like that…

Not exactly a “locked room” puzzle, but have you tried Oxyd? It’s out there for free online now (since it came out in 1990), and it’s got some great puzzle levels. You can also skip puzzles on occasion if you’re stuck.
