My favorite part is sneaking in Charlie the Unicorn in the background – it’s a great example of how much visual layering they have on top of the musical layering already happening.
Gotta love Weezer! They really know how to kick off a song.

Andrew: Absolutely. I didn’t recognize the majority of the clips, and in looking them up, discovered that, while the beginning mirrors One Mand Band, the room that you see all four of them in is from a guy playing Pachebel’s Canon in D on his guitar.
Yeah, the guy playing Pachelbel made its rounds in the music community about a year ago, so I recognized that one. That brings up an interesting point about memes, though – they are often passed around specific sub-cultures on the web so that some memes you hear about and some pass you buy for perhaps even a year.
