I am leaving this comment to note that, by age 45, you’re going to be a hypermiler. I just want it on the record so I can gloat when it happens.
We have a friend that’s a hypermiler. I’m still not convinced that all of the theories are completely sound, but he’s determined to get better gas mileage, so, whatever floats his boat.
Yeah, I’m not going to be hypermiling. You very quickly reach diminishing returns, and start doing silly things like putting magnets on your fuel lines.
