It’s important to say “We’ll be back!” defiantly and with feeling.
…I think that’s the first time I’ve seen someone on the Internet use the word “defiantly” and actually MEAN “defiantly” rather than “definitely.”
Check the dictionary definition for alternate meanings of retreat. It’s not running away, but an end of day ceremony.
