I started this project on January 4 and finished this evening. I’m very glad to have it done before the baby gets here. Now to get it framed.
Also, here’s a photo of what the pattern looks like once I’ve finished with it.
See why I make copies?

Beautiful!
Great job!
That looks great!
If you’re looking for another project to start, maybe you could finish mine for me. I haven’t stitched in weeks. Needless to say, it will not be done when the baby gets here. I have been busy doing so much other stuff (mainly being tired) that I have not had a chance to get back to it. Oh well, guess that’s what maternity leave is for 🙂
This is outstandingly beautiful! I can’t wait to see it hanging on the baby’s wall.
Ashley, I thought maternity leave was for sleeping when the baby sleeps, and otherwise taking care of the baby.
Lovely!
Ehhh, sleeping is overrated. Don’t you think?
I’m counting on being one of those extremely terrified and paranoid first-time mothers who has to make sure her child is breathing while asleep and will be too worked up for sleeping. I figure that between all the laundry and diaper changes and house cleaning, etc. that I’ll still have time to stitch 😉 Don’t you think so 😉
Yeah, Ashley, that’s exactly how it works. Keep on believing the dream.
